This project with NYSOPRHP included a dam drop inlet replacement and construction of new enlarged parking lot with site lighting, drainage systems & landscaping. The drop inlet replacement work required the use of an Aqua Barrier cofferdam system with a 6” pump to dewater the work area. A new precast outlet structure with a Hydro Gate sluice gate was installed to give the park the ability to control the lake level. The existing parking lot was moved to a nearby field to limit its visibility from the historic buildings on the site. Site lighting was installed throughout the parking lot and along the ADA walkway by Stilsing Electric. Bluestone sidewalks at the cozy cottage, bluestone veneer on the culvert headwalls and a concrete handicap parking area was poured by Annandale construction. Numerous trees, shrubs and plantings were installed by North Country Garden Center. Cedar bollards & deer fencing were installed by Anchor Fence of NY. This project was managed by Tom Petersen & Rian Baker the Field Superintendent was Tom Petersen Jr. This Contract was valued at $1,977,000.
