June 6, 2022

This Contract with NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation was to remove the failing retaining wall on the east bank of the Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site in Newburgh, NY. Our team removed the existing concrete retaining wall and graded the hill side to match the existing contour to the south. Once complete, we repaired the asphalt parking lot at the hill top and installed an asphalt wing curb to divert water from the new slope. The slope was landscaped with trees and bushes by North Country Garden Center and a new fence was installed at the top of the slope by Ketcham Fence. This Project was managed by Tom Petersen and Rian Baker. The field Superintendent was Matt Boice. The contract was valued at $ 113,850.00
