Arold Construction was contracted by the Town of Southeast, NY in the summer of 2013 to construct a new treatment plant for a fifty four home subdivision called Springhouse Estates. The project included the installation of two 10,000 gallon underground potable water storage tanks in addition to a new treatment facility with chemical feed, operator interface control, and an emergency backup generator. The existing water delivery system for the subdivision had been out of service for several years, and the residents were forced to truck water in daily, making the timely delivery of the project a primary concern. A significant amount of value engineering directed by Arold Construction and The Chazen Companies was conducted post bid which facilitated the project moving forward due to budgetary concerns. Completed in February 2014, the project was managed and directed by John Dowley, with site supervision and execution performed by Thomas Anderson.
