Wiccopee Box Culvert – Putnam Valley, NY

This contract with the Town of Putnam Valley successfully replaced failing culvert pipes in the Wiccopee Brook with a 90’ long, 24’ span precast concrete box culvert. This contract included clearing and grubbing, cofferdam construction, bypass pumping, demolition of the existing culvert pipe structure, rock excavation, Installation of a precast concrete box culvert system, backfill, asphalt pavement, guiderail installation, and landscape restoration. LHV Precast of Kingston supplied the precast Box Culvert. Anchor Fence of NY installed the guide rail. Smedley Crane and Rigging Services assisted with the precast setting work. This project was coordinated by PM’s Tom Petersen & Rian Baker, and Field Superintendent Barry Kaiser. This project was valued at $ 1.4 million.
